I get the concern, but I think it'd be fine if bolster only worked in the world boss area and dropped off as soon as you leave. This would at least let newer players actually take part instead of just getting wiped instantly. Doesn’t really seem exploitable if it’s strictly tied to the area.

Should Bolster (for armor, weapons, and stats) be added to World Boss areas? This would allow ungeared characters to participate using basic gear.
