In order to do BM you'd need to drop the entire 1st tree not ideal as BM The buffs are what empower pets. As for melee its a tank mode style best used with the shield set gives you without suit 30% Parry 16% Glance before single buff if you take all the defense in the 2nd tree which is a lot.
