Patch Notes 10/6/2024
Team Battlefield System
• The current Battlefield system has been disabled.
• The new “Team Battlefield” system has been enabled.
• Groups will now be divided into Red vs. Blue teams. Allowing mixed factions, as well as neutrals, to queue up as a team to fight the opposing team.
• GCW and PvP kills will be awarded when participating in a Red vs. Blue fight, even when the enemy is of the same faction (e.g.: Rebel vs. Rebel). Note: Killing a neutral player will not award GCW points or a GCW kill but will count towards the Battlefield statistics.
• At the conclusion of the battlefield, players will be rewarded with a GCW scroll and a Battlefield Token Box (both items are No Trade-Shared). The rewarded tokens are dependent on the player faction when opening the box. Note: Neutral players will not obtain GCW points or PvP kills but will be rewarded with Battlefield tokens and a GCW scroll at the conclusion of the Battlefield.
• Battlefield UI has been revised, the player will select the Battlefield they wish to queue for, and the system will randomly assign the Red or Blue team.
• Disabled solo players from queueing in Battlefields, players must be in a group to queue.
• Once both teams are queued, teams will automatically be transported to the Battlefield. There is no longer a “Yes” “No” popup.
• Capture terminals have been removed from all battlefields.
• Data Runner and Hoth ball have temporarily been disabled, as they will require a bit of coding rework. These two Battlefields will return in a future update, along with same faction Arenas.
Misc./PvP
•Players will no longer obtain GCW, kills, etc. for killing players flagged as combatant, must be Special Forces!
