Good Afternoon everyone!
Next Friday September 16, 2022 we are excited to announce that with the server reset we will be enabling the long awaited
GCW Leaderboard Update!
With the exception of waypoint registry our GCW Leaderboard update will be “like for like” to the 17.6 game update - Galactic Leaders : With some added SWG Beyond exclusive upgrades.
Enhanced Rewards
Each factions; Individual Champion, Top 10 individuals, Top Guild, and Top City will receive new and unique abilities.
• Emergency Broadcast - Ability that allows the individual champions of each faction to communicate with all other members of their faction on the same planet.
• Group Transport - Ability that allows the individual champions of each faction and all group members to travel together to shuttles and starports located on the same planet.
• No Death Penalty - Each factions top 10 individuals will no longer receive cloning sickness when cloning at a server or player city cloner
• Galactic Leaders Bundle - Each factions top 10 individuals will receive a box that when opened will give the player a random GCW currency; GCW Comms, GCW Tokens, Restuss Comms, etc.
• City Navigation - All residents of the top city of each faction will be granted an ability that allows them to travel to their city.
• Friends with Benefits - An ability that allows players to travel to any guild member that is online and at the keys.
Vendor Additions
New items will be added to all GCW related vendors, some of which will only be available to players located on each factions top 10 leaderboards. You can find some of the notable additions below.
• Stored Entertainer Enhancement - The consumable item will allow an entertainer to store a custom buff to be used at a later time.
• VIP Enhancement - This consumable item will allow a player to instantly gain max duration from any entertainer.
• Call for Backup - EMT - This consumable item will allow the player to call in a Medic into a PvP zone, that will refresh the medic buffs of all players in a radius.
• Rapid Deployment - This item will allow players to travel to the base camp at the three static bases located on Corellia, Naboo, and Talus.
• Swift Authorization - This consumable item will allow the player to expedite a change to their faction status.
