Proposed Invasion Changes

Invasions are a fun and unique part of SWG. On live they presented an opportunity for Entertainers and Crafters to participate in a factional warfare event. With decent GCW and tokens available to both combatant and SF participants it allowed both PVP and PVE centered players to get rewards. Obviously with the risk of being SF the reward was increased but neither group was denied. In view of these benefits, it deserves our attention on Beyond.

The mechanics work well with a high population server that has at the keyboard crafters and ents dedicated to attending and supporting their faction. That just isn’t the case on Beyond yet. We currently can’t properly support an invasion or fill up the spawnable Structures and NPC’s.

How much more fun would it be to be able to fight in a full scale invasion?

I’m proposing the following changes to be implemented at least until the population can support this activity.

1. Applying Kits to Spawn Points no longer builds fatigue.
2. Instead of a crafter getting the supplies from the vendor, Already built kits can be purchased directly from the terminal by any character.
3. Kit power set to 20 to fill a spawn point in 5 iterations.

Crafters and Ents can still participate via buying the kits and applying them to spawn points along with the combat.

This would make a great activity for Friday Night PvP with loads of GCW to be gained from player and NPC kills.
