Introducing Beyond’s exclusive Slicing update! Players throughout the galaxy are encouraged to visit their local smugglers today and find out what we have in store for you.
Smugglers can craft slicing tools via a Weapons, Droid and General Item Crafting tool, using any quality resources, without the need to be near a crafting station.
Smugglers now have a variety of slicing options to improve your character’s equipment.
Armor Slicing Tool: Includes Armor, Cybernetics and PSGs.
• Skill Mods - +1 base stat [up to 3 skill mods] (Example Rifle damage exotic is a 3, the sliced stat improves it to a 4) Excludes experimentation.
• Health Bonus
• Action Bonus
• Armor Protection – Standard and Special Protection
Clothing Slicing Tool:
• Skill Mods – +1 base stat [up to 3 skill mods] (Example Rifle damage exotic is a 3, the sliced stat improves it to a 4) Excludes experimentation.
• Health Bonus
• Action Bonus
Weapon Slicing Tool:
Skill Mods – +1 base stat [up to 3 skill mods] (Example Rifle damage exotic is a 3, the sliced stat improves it to a 4) Excludes experimentation.
• Augment and Enhancement
• Range Bonus
• Min and Max Damage
Only crafted clothing/armor/weapons can be sliced. Lightsabers cannot be sliced.
The slice percentage will be determined by the smuggler profession, as well as their underworld faction rank and Luck.
Illegally sliced items will draw some unwanted attention. Sliced items will lose their condition once the item decays to zero. Your item will then reset to its original condition, allowing it to be resliced.
Lastly, a new overload ability creates a temporary buff, however, will decay your item at a faster rate. The strength of your overload will be determined by the number of sliced items you have equipped.
