I come bearing more promising news, fellow Beyonders!
As many of you have noticed, we have hit - and exceeded - both of our targets of getting 100 people in Discord and registered for our project. With that, the launcher is about ready to be made available to all users, so you can download the game ahead of the launch date. That way, you don't have to waste time downloading on the day it goes live, and can fully utilize double XP for the first 5 days.
The next step is "white listing" members so they are ready to download and play the game, from said launcher. This process is partially for security, as well as preventing people from accessing multiple accounts. However, as mentioned before, there will be a method available for those who have friends and family playing Beyond under the same IP address. You can find more information on that here. As per the privacy policy, your IP address will not be seen by other members and will be kept confidential.
If we were to make the launcher available right now, any further changes we make due to our current testing will need to be patched. For this reason, we have decided to simply make sure the game and server are 100% ready before making it accessible. Ideally, you will be able to download everything required all in one shot, and gain access in as few steps as possible.
As for white listing your account, you will need to contact either a CSR or BloodCommando in Beyond Discord with your e-mail address and forum account name. They will confirm the correlation between the two and add you to the white list. At this point, you will be happy to know that all of the preliminary requirements to play the game will have been fulfilled.
