Bolster System — You Can't Blame Your Gear Anymore
April's big addition: the Bolster System, designed to help under-geared players stay competitive... without handing out free wins to the fully optimized crowd.
Armor Bolster
If your armor is falling short, the system quietly steps in and patches the gaps.It looks at your armor type (Assault, Battle, Recon) and your total protections (kinetic, energy, elemental). If you're below expected benchmarks, you'll get scaled up to match:
Battle: 6000 / 6000
Assault: 7000 / 5000
Recon: 5000 / 7000
It only fills what you're missing—no overcapping, no turning you into a raid boss. Scaling also respects your armor type, so Assault leans kinetic, Recon leans energy, and Battle stays balanced. Mixed sets? We pick a lane for you.
If you're already at or above benchmark... congrats, you're on your own.
Stat Bolster (Attachments)
For anyone running around with stats that raise questions...Each gear piece contributes toward a capped stat budget. If you're below +25 x3 (Con, Luck, Agility), you'll get boosted up to that baseline. If you're already above +26 x3, nothing changes—you're already doing the thing.
There's a per-piece cap of 75 total stats, and the system only fills missing values. No bonus stacking, no accidental god builds.
This applies in Heroic, Hardmode, Challenge Mode, and Legendary content.
What This Means
Fresh level 90 players can now jump into real content without needing perfect gear on day one.Set up your expertise, equip some jewelry, and go. Bolster gives you enough to participate—not enough to carry you through everything.

Recruit-a-Friend — Drag Your Friends Over (Get Rewarded)
We've introduced the Recruit-a-Friend System, because if you're having fun, your friends should be too—and now there's loot involved.Open the Recruit-a-Friend UI, enter your friend's character name, and send them your referral code. Once they accept, you're linked, and you can track their progress as they play.
As your recruit completes key milestones, like Heroics, World Bosses, and other major activities, they'll build progress toward 100%. Basically, proof that they didn't just log in once and disappear.
When they hit 100%, they move to your completed list, you unlock rewards through the Claim Rewards button, and your friend also gets rewarded for finishing the journey.
More Friends = Better Rewards
This system includes tiered rewards, meaning the more people you bring in, the bigger the payoff.Milestones unlock at 1, 5, 10, 15... all the way up to 100 recruits. Rewards include credits, badges, player titles, and exclusive items that are actually worth chasing.
And no, you can't cheese this with alts. We've already thought about it.
Monthly Leaderboard
Each month, the top recruiter earns a shoutout in-game, recognition on Discord, and a unique reward meant purely for flexing.

We'd like to acknowledge that Greg the Womp Rat is still out there....We're not saying he's related to recent events... but we're also not not saying that. Reports of suspicious activity, missing snacks, and general chaos may or may not be tied to Greg.

April was all about lowering the barrier to entry while keeping progression meaningful. New players get a fighting chance. Veterans keep their advantage. Everyone wins... mostly.
