Hello, Beyond!
July was another huge month, which explains why the developers have been communicating primarily through Git commits, coffee, and the phrase "it worked on my machine."
We've been hard at work bringing one of the biggest systems Beyond has ever seen online, along with a ton of quality-of-life improvements. Let's dive in.
The Old Ways of the Force – Phase One
The wait is over....
Phase One of The Old Ways of the Force has arrived.
Somewhere in the galaxy, a mysterious Shrine has appeared. Those worthy enough may seek it out and begin their journey toward rediscovering the Force.
To receive guidance from the Shrine, you'll need to prove you're not just another moisture farmer:
You'll also begin finding Holocrons of Forgotten Knowledge across the galaxy. These Holocrons reveal what you need to accomplish next, and once you've mastered the Old Ways, they'll help restore your connection to the Force. Just don't get too click-happy; they're single-use, and you'll need to wait 24 hours before using another. The Force has a cooldown. Apparently. Patience is a virtue, right?
Phase One also introduces:
Who will become the first player to rediscover the Old Ways of the Force?
New Client Update
Alongside Phase One comes a brand-new client packed with features players have been asking for.
UI Scaling
No more choosing between reading your hotbars or getting your face six inches from the monitor.
UI Scaling is now available under Options → Interface, updates live while you adjust it, and carries over into space automatically.
Just don't drag the slider around like you're trying to win a rhythm game. The UI rebuilds itself every time you change the scale, and we'd all appreciate it if you treated it gently.
Character & Ship Ordering
You can finally organize your character and ship lists however you want. No more scrolling past seven crafters, three entertainers, and that character you accidentally made in 2017 just to find your main.
More Quality of Life
We couldn't stop ourselves, so we also added:
Important: You'll need to download the latest client after the server reset. Older clients have officially joined the Rebel Alliance and will refuse Imperial... err... server connections.
Farewell, Anniversary Event
Our 7th Anniversary Event has officially wrapped up.
Thank you to everyone who joined the celebration, completed quests, earned badges, and collected event rewards. If you forgot to spend your anniversary tokens before the event ended... our condolences.

The Old Ways of the Force – Phase OneThe wait is over....
Phase One of The Old Ways of the Force has arrived.
Somewhere in the galaxy, a mysterious Shrine has appeared. Those worthy enough may seek it out and begin their journey toward rediscovering the Force.

- Reach Level 90 as a Jedi
- Complete the Cloak Collections
- Earn at least 25 badges
You'll also begin finding Holocrons of Forgotten Knowledge across the galaxy. These Holocrons reveal what you need to accomplish next, and once you've mastered the Old Ways, they'll help restore your connection to the Force.
