Community Poll: Add GCW tick to Restuss PvP Zone

While reviewing some of the older QoL requests, one suggestion that stood out was the addition of a Restuss GCW tick. This would reward active Special Forces players in the area with GCW points and Restuss commendations, with the ultimate goal of encouraging more spontaneous PvP encounters.

Could just make restuss a flashpoint and it would reward both. If a gcw/comm tick is added, would you be able to get them both from sitting in the zone while stealth?

I voted yes to this, but I believe it will be exploited by community members that want an easy way to get GCW and/or comms. The only way this could possibly work would be to initiate a time for cloaked players in a PVP zone.

GCW ticks Yes. why? cause live had it and it promoted pvp. hell add leaderboard make people more compete space is afked already may well give them some competition.

Just make it so being cloaked=no tick.

As for comms why not? most community already has there crystals all this does is help the lesser players go in get ticks and get a chance to get there crystals. and since theres people sitting with 200k comms i'm sure some have more. but value of crystals is cheap enough it isnt even worth it.

However if this is done i think it would be good to add a system message across the galaxy maybe even tie it to discord when a player enters the zone entire server knows that way it sparks people or if a tick happens and someone gets GCW a message goes out a player has gained a GCW/Comm Tick and go contend them but i think both sides should get it like live did.

But if we do this can we please get GCW Credit for medics outside of GCW Zones by healing as it sucks when we do pvp/events outside zones medics get shafted unless they suicide in which really isnt a option for medics here as you tend to die before you can get 20 meters


I personally stopped giving a crap about my rank/GCW Buffs now ran out of scrolls. its lucky/nice other servers removed decay or reduced it by 50-75% making it take 2 months to lose one rank

Whats wrong with it? rather this system to promote pvp atm why hell would anyone go there? live had it. its why restuss was always booming its why people went there for the 5k/10k GCW Ticks every 10 minutes both sides got it and it promoted crossing the line. this may be a smaller server but there are ways to make it anti afkable.

one being .. being dead laying there=tick 2 being cloaked=none. live didnt have this but given we are smaller it would be a good compromise and then adding a red system message would also be a be a big hey there someone there.

If no one decides to contest then they reap the rewards. so what? its 22 year old game now . what needs be added to this is leaderboard points. so people can compete with afking GCW2. cause i can go up there and put up 300k a week in board points and 1mil GCW in 2 nights of taking 6 of my characters up afk shooting the frigate takes me 5-15 minutes to kill a frigate now.

I stopped doing it cause i could care less about the boards but atleast this would give the lesser players who cant afk 6 days week a chance to go for it. which would be a positive.
