PvP Arenas are something that you won’t find anywhere else besides on SWG Beyond!
This unique 1v1 or 2v2 PvP system, is a great way to introduce small scale PvP and battle it out with friends or foes... It also allows you to test out builds, strategy’s, and is an amazing way to test your abilities against other professions.
To queue for arenas, you simply type /arena and a pop-up window will appear.
In the pop-up window, you will notice there is 4 solo (1v1) instances and 2 team (2v2) instances. You will also see your stats, ranking, wins, and loses.
Currently, the ELO ranking system is in pre-season and will be reset. Once that happens, you will be able to see how you rank up against other community members on the PvP Arena Leaderboard!
Once you have the pop-up window open, you can queue for an arena by double clicking on the arena that you would like to join. Then, the window will close, but if you would like to check your statis, you can simply type /arena and you will see a 1 (solo) or a 2 (team) under the appropriate factions and chosen instance.
When the correct number of players have joined each side, you will be whisked away to the Imperial Star Destroyer PvP Arena!
When you load in you will be locked to your load in location. If you are doing a 2v2 (team) arena, you will need to invite the other player on your team to a group. You will see a count down to indicate when the battle will begin!
Below are some important facts about the PvP Arena
• You can only queue with one character on your account
• Arenas are the best of 3 rounds
• Each round is 5 minutes and then you go into overtime for a maximum of 5 minutes
• In overtime, fire spawns to force players to the center of the arena
Once the arena has finished you will receive tokens! The winner will receive 5 tokens and the loser will receive 2 tokens. These tokens can be used to purchase items from the Arena vendors.
