I like the idea of unlocking an elder Jedi with FRS and a theme park, however I don't particularly like the first section of completing random tasks to get to the next stage. I understand the implied aspect of mastering many facets of the game to be a true "elder". Love the overall idea especially being open game if wearing robes/lightsabers in public. I would give it a go as it's currently proposed but will try to think of a suitable alternative for the first section.

I like this, but I think the Elder would need to stand out from the base Jedi profession. As it did in the old system, iirc, it was high risk high reward to become Jedi so I feel like if a max Jedi Elder wasn't much different (better?) than a normal Jedi then it wouldn't feel as worthy.

I personally don't mind being hunted and feel that it would match the era that we play in, but 99% of the time you'll be outmatched by a lvl90 BH while leveling so that would be a challenge to balance. Perhaps some "basic elder robes" and "elder type lightsaber" would be the key to this balance, where they are statted differently than other gear.

This one? while i agree it'd be great...it'd force people to PVP and lets be real not everyone here wants to PVP. I feel for the players who dont wanna pvp. why force this on them just dumb. people will just ultimately grief. this is also a shit system Aconite from SWGR and evolve added and isn't working out to well or was scrapped this was great in PRE-CU because combat was slow paced and all about Knockdowns. this is NGE combat is way to fast paced.

Yeah not really a great idea people can say timeline bullshit all they want but if you've done your research there were still hundreds of jedi left in hiding granted hiding but the timeline is a joke now. if your gonna go for cannon then it needs be 9th slot unlock and BH should follow same suit then since Bounty hunters had a high death ratio in cannon most would die before 4th mark...

Better off just making a new class thats unlocked from jedi then adding robes as a drop in a new instance tied to themepark. then adding in a new PVP Tef system thats toggled by the new jedi and they are perma on the board and if they kill a BH they get a new token that can be used for new rewards and if BH kills the jedi they get a token and or bust of dooku with the players name on it and time/date of death.

and if the jedi hits the toggle they cant untoggle it for atleast 24 hours real time meaning toggling it is a choice and a hefty one.

Been awhile since I've been on, and I played Galaxies all the way back in beta, but from what I see, this is definitely a rollback to the old way of jedi. Not opposed in principal, I wasn't a fan of jedi back then and when they added jedi as a starter class it just got worse. Jedi have always been devisive since their inception, pvp jedis were and still are some of the most broken and frustrating characters to engage let alone kill. From what I understand, the max rank elder jedi would be always on the bounty boards which on the one hand would be an asset for pvp oriented BH's as those boards can be pretty empty at times. On the flip side I can see that playing as a jedi and being permanently "overt" for BHs could lead to griefing and would be a huge turn off. Perhaps a middle ground would be a cool down for being posted to the boards. For example, it's been stated that lower level "elder jedi" can be put on the board for essentially "being discovered" what about keeping that mechanic for the top rank. You aren't on the board until "discovered" and remain on the board until bounty claimed, and then you won't be put back on the board until " discovered" again.
