QoL Suggestions (2025)

- Update in-game tooltips on abilities and expertise boxes to reflect base damage on all abilities, cooldowns, and effect descriptions that match the buff/debuff description. This will make it easier for players to know what their abilities do and any changes from other servers.

- Space loot .txt file that gives "tiers" for space loot stats. Makes the barrier for entry on doing space content a little easier for the lay-player who doesn't understand the nonsense of space stats.

- Add more stats to the battlefield exports. Categories can include debuffs cleansed (includes self cleanses), revives performed, group buffs performed, etc. Exports are traditionally used as a tool to help players see their performance data and which areas they need to improve on. For certain professions, these are crucial categories. (Note: If possible should be actual cleanses and not cleanses performed)

- Junk loot .txt file. Either something that tells players (when viewing in inventory) when they have "rare" junk loot, or it tells players what unique junk loot combinations are possible with it. This will help players who don't know any better not delete rare junk loot. (Note: not all combinations, as that would be a giant wall of text, just notable ones like devastation, aoe damage, etc.)

- Launcher setting that lets you save login information.

- Put buff categories in the item descriptions of buff items.

Change the name of the legendary missions from the daily missions. All 4 of them (LSD, COM, Avatar, Spiderclan) have the same name in the mission journal and when you share it (and usually click on the wrong one because you can't see which daily you are attempting to share). ADDED

A crafter box similar to the safe deposit box would be amazing. as a SW I use a LOT of various resources for various parts and projects. Having that as a way to make better use of my inventory would be awesome.

A restructure of the current trader token system, particularly how tokens are delivered, everything else (like the requirements for receiving a token) is fine.

In the current setup, on a qualifying craft, we roll with RNG to hopefully obtain a token and depending on our RNG-related luck and our assembly value, that can take anywhere from 1-30 crafts to see just 1 token with a 15 min downtime.
The part of all this that I most despise is the RNG aspect of obtaining tokens.

My proposed solution is instead of receiving a roll for token upon qualified crafts, we earn currency (not the tokens themselves, pity coins if you will) from each craft based on the complexity and assembly of the crafter. The currency/pity coins could then be converted to the variety of tokens to then be used on the trader vendor. A token could cost 100 currency or whatever makes sense.

I prefer this solution because each craft feels like it's working toward something and still requires the crafter to meet the demands of the current system. I think this solution could be used in tandem with the current RNG tokens as well, the daily trader mission doesn't have to change for that either.

I appreciate everyone's consideration.

Trader's box of achievements is able to store "fun" tokens. I only ever got the Trader token box since I never needed to store tokens from instances. I would like a place to store my Beyond Anniversary tokens without them silling up my inventory.

For Master Underworld Smuggler, add a vendor that will trade contraband for convoy plans or IWMs or other smuggler related items/schematics.
Maybe have contraband turn into IWMs to exchange the contraband for, which then the tokens are used to get a variety of smuggler related items, which include the already available slicing items and such.

Currently, unless I missed something, there is no purpose for the contraband especially after reaching Master Underworld Smuggler. Can only exchange for a small amount of credits overall and I think they could see some use somewhere else.

QOL for MUS grinding:

For those who want to grind MUS while doing more common activities within the game, and not to devote specific game time to do just that:

Place an item/terminal in each OG heroic, that when a smuggler that is in group slices it, it spawns a boss fight. By killing that boss, a smuggler is awarded 10 MUS. So in each full heroic run, a smuggler can acquire 50 MUS. So 5 OGs equals 1 convoy run or two delivery missions. And it's content most can do/want to do.

Ideas for the bosses:

EK: Before the second boss room, a smuggler can slice a torch outside of the room. This will spawn a third critter boss along with the current three bosses in that room/boss fight.
AM: Upon entering the instance, there will be a tablet a smuggler player can radial and slice it. Along with Nandina and Gorvo, a spider boss spawns.
IG: Upon entering the instance, there will be two mouse droids. One starts the instance, the other when sliced will trigger a droideka stronger than usual, during the droideka fight.
ISD: the room where the extra boss on legends will have a boss, just like on legends.
TK: when first entering cantina during the clearing phase at the start, an item on the bar counter will spawn a second gold elite tusken.

As for loot drops, it can be the same as the loot from other bosses on those instances, which works as an incentive but not a must to bring a smuggler to OG runs.

1.Can we get combat toons to have level 90 Droids? Maybe a Jewelry set or a small skill tree to enable combat toons to have a CL90 Droid? Then we have the choice of Droid or Beast companions. Will also enable Droid Engineer to make some of the really awesome Combat Droids feasible again.
2. Is there a way to have Entertainers " Holographic Image" timer removed? Maybe a new book to purchase with tokens on the Entertainer Vendor?

Undo the banner change from the last update. That change is not needed and is not a QOL.
this one stupid change biolink on weapons i can get and backpacks but not banners. hope this gets reverted. i can understand keeping it on the CoM banner as its easy to get but others nah lol.

Add a tool that allows you to change a weapon skin to whatever skin you feed into it.

It effectively should be the equivalent of a weapon appearance slot, but i think having a tool will be easier to implement due to weapon switching and potential issues that can arise from that.

If we had weapon appearance slots, i think the only way it would work without much issue is if a ranged weapon appearance could skin over any ranged weapon, and melee weapon appearance can skin over any melee weapon.

I was thinking that new players, specifically the crafters and entertainers should have a little bit of an easier time getting their tokens. I was thinking that maybe new characters could get a counter of how many tokens they have received and if it’s over let’s say 100 tokens then the current calculation is used, but until that point they are eligible to receive a token from every craft.
